SAAE Capivari is the municipal agency responsible for operating and managing basic sanitation services in Capivari, São Paulo, directly impacting the quality of life for more than 50,000 residents. The agency plays a key role in urban infrastructure, ensuring the continuity of water supply and wastewater treatment by monitoring more than 180 strategic pieces of equipment.
Before partnering with IBBX, the organization faced severe difficulties in monitoring its distributed assets, which resulted in constant unscheduled downtime and high costs for corrective maintenance. The lack of real-time visibility into critical variables, such as pressure, level, and vibration, created frequent risks of supply shortages, as well as a reactive operation that drove up energy costs and emergency repair expenses.
The implementation of the IBBX solution transformed operational management, resulting in more than 62 failures identified in advance over an 18-month period and preventing water shortages in the city on five critical occasions. Financially, the solution generated savings of R$ 500,000 in avoided costs and a 20% reduction in the energy bill, resulting in an ROI of over 100%.
