- 915MHz Directional Antenna for Gateways
915MHz Directional Antenna for Gateways
Overview
915MHZ directional antenna for use in IBBX gateways to increase the transmission and reception signal between gateway endpoints over long distances and open spaces. In general, this antenna can increase distances between gateways and endpoints by up to 6 times compared to a standard antenna.
This is a UHF YAGI antenna made of high quality aluminum and finished in white epoxy paint. The base of the active element is screwed into the central gondola and the active element is silver soldered. The director and reflector elements are welded to the central gondola using aluminum TIG welding. The polypropylene covers guarantee perfect sealing of the holes, providing excellent performance and a long service life. The antenna is easy to install as it is lightweight, does not require adjustment and has an international standard N Female connector, as well as a versatile bracket that allows it to be installed in a vertical or horizontal position.
It is important to note that this is a directional antenna, i.e. it must be "pointed" in the direction from which you want to increase the signal.
Main applications:
- Agricultural areas
-Highways
-Cities
-Long distances in general
